About
Mann Adores Notte is an apparel brand founded on the principles of minimalism.
Born out of a desire to produce works that express the atmosphere of the night while preserving its subtle, quiet mystery. Every design is refined with this mentality at the forefront, using premium materials, restraint, intent, and quality over quantity.
Our primary influence is German Bauhaus, alongside wider German, French, and Italian fashion - just as the name implies. Mann. Adores. Notte.
Additional influences include the films of Alfred Hitchcock and Stanley Kubrick, as well as the music of punk, hardcore, post-punk, and experimental genres. Kraftwerk. Joy Division. Rites Of Spring. The worlds of 1980s nightlife, Miami, cyberpunk, synth-wave, neon, and noir also inform the visual identity of the brand.
Our products are intended to express the emotions of those who wander through the modern nocturnal cityscape looking for purpose and meaning. No love for anything. Finding their life only in the night. It is not an endorsement, but rather an indictment. Our symbol, the Bauheart, an industrialised version of a heart over-turned, flipped, in distress. The only joy and release is in their pursuit of the neon, noir, adventure that the night lays out before them.
